A beautiful day, wall-to-wall sunshine and a great turnout for the Grand Opening Ceremony following months of improvement work to the hall.

Dorothy Chaplin performed the opening ceremony by cutting the ribbon and the celebratory cake (baked and iced by Barbara). Dorothy was present at the laying of the foundation stone when the hall was first built in 1937.
